Wedding Details
Julie Gang Xie and Dominic Sartorio were married at the Transfiguration Episcopal Church in Belmont, California at 3PM on Sunday, August 10th, 2003. After studying at Beijing Teacher's University, she came to the United States as a graduate student in 1996, studying school psychology at Temple University in Philadelphia. Upon completing her Ph.D program, she then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2000 to begin her career as a school psychologist. Dominic was born of German and Italian-American parents in Frankfurt, Germany, after which the family moved to Rhode Island where he was raised. After completing his graduate work at MIT in Boston, he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1995 to begin his career in the software industry. Julie and Dominic met online on April 14th, 2001 and met in person for the first time on April 29th, 2001. Dominic proposed to Julie on September 21st, 2002 in the resort town of Fort Bragg along the Northern California coast. |
